Our Programs & Services

Since our start in 2017, we’ve continued to strive to offer impactful programming to the women and girls of Baltimore City. Our programs include:

Girls Empowerment Summer Camp

Bmore Empowered’s Girls Empowerment Summer Camp is an all girls summer camp located in Baltimore, Maryland. Our 2-week day camp provides a safe and nurturing summer environment for girls aged 9-17.

Our camp empowers our girls through: self-esteem exercises, sisterhood, mindfulness  activities, entrepreneurship, nature appreciation & S.T.E.A.M.

Quarterly
Workshops

We provide workshops throughout the year for cultural engagement with girls 9-17 years old. Each workshop includes a mindful movement session and a hands-on craft taught by a woman entrepreneur. Some past events have included: Hair & Health, Pose & Plan, Canvas & Cardio, Cupcakes & Kickboxing

Women’s Business
Cohort

Our inaugural 6-month incubator program is for 10 Baltimore-based Black women business owners. The 12 sessions include one-on-one mentoring with an existing Black woman business owner & partnering with another cohort member for support.  At the end of the 6 months, each participant will receive working capital to support their business operations.

Fiscal
Sponsorship

Bmore Empowered provides administrative and accounting support to nonprofit projects and organizations in Baltimore City and the surrounding areas through fiscal sponsorship and fiscal management. We focus on women-owned businesses that provide services to Black women and girls. Fiscal sponsorship provides the ability for projects to receive tax-deductible donations through our 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.

Afterschool Programming

We are providing group yoga therapy workshops throughout the year for cultural engagement with girls in middle and high school (grades 6-12th) at Baltimore City Public Schools. Each workshop includes a mindful movement session, breath-work, yoga poses, meditation, sisterhood activities.
