Dana “Amaadi” Coleman
D. “Amaadi” Coleman, The Belly Therapist® and Chief Belly Officer of Fit Tribe Wellness, is a fitness and wellness entrepreneur centered on educating and empowering women to lead healthy lifestyles. For over the past decade, she has served as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and creator of Belly Therapy (a program that focuses on the natural healing of diastasis recti and its symptoms for postpartum mothers).
She serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for The Joy of Living and Co-chair for Bmore Empowered, two nonprofits that are dedicated to the empowerment of girls and women of color. Amaadi also is a wife and mother of three teenage sons.
Before diving into fitness and wellness, Amaadi honed her skills in research analysis and data management in
the criminal justice and maternal and child health fields. She holds a master’s degree in public policy and a
bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and is currently pursuing her doctorate in physical therapy. She is fluent
in Spanish, has extensively traveled the world, and has been exposed to a wide variety of people and
cultures. Amaadi is extremely passionate about helping women solve problems related to health and healing.
