Whole Black Girl Afterschool Program-FALL 2025
DATE: Wednesdays, September 17-October 22, 2025
TIME: 4:00-6:30 pm
LOCATION: The Bmore Empowered Center, 344 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
DETAILS: The Whole Black Girl After School Program is a six-week cohort for Black girls, aged 13-17, in Baltimore City, We will meet once a week for 2.5 hours in downtown Baltimore. During the sessions we will incorporate Black cultural values, yoga therapy (i.e. yoga poses, mindfulness, and meditation), and educational content (safety promotion, violence prevention, and sexual well-being). The participants will learn ways to foster sisterhood, appreciate their bodies, and create healthy relationships while learning practices to manage stress.

DETAILS: This special evening kicks off our CLLCTIVGive campaign, a citywide Day of Giving where we raise critical funds to support the powerful work we do at Bmore Empowered.

DETAILS: 3-week Girls Empowerment Summer Camp featuring field trips to Black women-owned businesses, sisterhood activities, yoga, and a pitch competition.

women’s history month empower hour
DATE: March 19, 2025

LOCATION: Hotel Indigo, 24 W. Franklin Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
DETAILS: Join us for an inspiring evening as we celebrate Women’s History Month with a lively happy hour in support of Bmore Empowered.
This Empower Hour will be held at the lovely Hotel Indigo in collaboration with Vino + Vibe and hosted by Sola (@thesolasystem) with sounds by Pretty (@theprettyexperience).
Purchase and enjoy light bites, signature cocktails, and great company while learning more about our mission and new building.
COST: There is no cover charge. Food and beverages are available for purchase and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Bmore Empowered’s programs and renovations.

DETAILS: Join us for Pose & Plan, a rejuvenating and empowering workshop designed especially for Black girls to set intentions, move with purpose, and manifest their dreams. This cozy and inspiring experience blends invigorating yoga, vision boarding, and a hot cocoa bar to nourish both body and spirit.

2024 Soulstice Soiree

DETAILS: On December 6th, from 7-11 PM, Bmore Empowered is transforming the Vollmer Center at Cylburn Arboretum into an afrofuturistic pink and gold celebration featuring live performances, music, dancing, and delicious food.

CUPCAKES + CARDIO WORKSHOP

DETAILS: Join us for a delightful day of sweet treats and energetic moves in our Cupcakes & Cardio workshop! This engaging event is for girls who love to unleash their creativity and stay active.
Participants will learn the art of crafting cupcakes with colorful toppings and edible embellishments.
After indulging their sweet tooth, it’s time to get the heart pumping with our invigorating cardio class. designed to boost their endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
This workshop is also about fostering confidence, sisterhood, and a healthy lifestyle. Girls will leave feeling empowered and inspired, one delicious cupcake and heart-pumping move at a time!
