Kieta Iriarte-Amin, MA

Executive Director, Co-Founder

Kieta Iriarte-Amin is a mother of five to Laila, Rania, KJ, Mpolo Business Solutions & Bmore Empowered; two of those babies are her businesses where she flexes not only her well earned qualifications in the nonprofit sector and degrees a B.A. in Mass Communication + Communication Studies and an M.A. in Nonprofit Management + Women’s Studies both from Towson University but her heart and empathetic disposition toward Black and Brown girls in Baltimore city.

Kieta aims to support women to be stronger so that they can be stronger for their families but today she’s here with us to impart her passion for entrepreneurship, empowerment and grant monitoring, which she’ll have you know is much more approachable than it sounds.

Nazaahah Amin, MS, C-IAYT

Program Director, Co-Founder

Nazaahah A. Amin is a mama, sista, friend, proud Black nerd, and self-proclaimed DIY row home restoration expert (ask her about that later). She is the founder of Ama Wellness, a yoga therapy practice nurturing Black women and girls through yoga, self-care & sisterhood, and the co-founder of Bmore Empowered, a non-profit dedicated to empowering Black women and girls through mindfulness and entrepreneurship. This Baltimore-born and raised Master of Science in Yoga Therapy and certified yoga therapist studied at the Maryland University of Integrative Health where she currently serves as Clinic Faculty. 

We hear the words Self Esteem, Self Love, Forgiveness, Anger Management, and even Grief Support all the time, but Nazaahah’s mission to teach these life skills to her community ooze from every move she’s made, from the startup, to the wellness world in Baltimore and its surrounding areas.
